A small team that has built inside government, now building with public librarians.
Arivu Mitra is incubated by Bharat Digital, a non-profit focused on modernising and humanising how governments use technology in service of the people, across talent, systems and culture. Our Build for Bharat Fellowship embeds public technologists inside government departments; this project emerged from one such placement, and stands on its own merit.

Product & design
Product across the private and public sector, including Senior Product for APAC at HCL. The first product manager hired in the Ministry of Rural Development, where she led product interventions and evaluations of digital and ML features, and set up the Data & Product Unit at the Department of Animal Husbandry.
Harsh Nisar
Data & engineering
Hired as the first data scientist in the Ministry of Rural Development, where he set up its Data & Insights Unit and deployed 20+ AI/ML interventions across NREGA, PMAY-G and PMGSY-G. Later Advisor (IT) to the Chairman, NHAI, setting up its digital cadre and AI Labs. Two National eGovernance awards.

Design
Graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, with an interest in user research, human-centered design and designing for learning experiences.

A design graduate from the National Institute of Design, Assam, with work and interests spanning UX research and design, product design, and visual communication.

An engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur who likes solving problems using technology and builds end-to-end digital products, from system design and infrastructure to AI.
